I'm Lissi; this is my journal. But you knew that already, right? Intelligence is a good thing. I like to think I am fairly intelligent. I get good grades at school, and I have an offer from Cambridge (to study Natural Sciences, case you're interested). However, I can be a complete prat sometimes - I'd say this journal was a good source of that. I fangirl over the strangest things, I'm a sucker for anything cute, and I say some very very stupid things sometimes. It's a case of not thinking before I speak (or type, as the case may be) - happens to everyone, only it happens to me a lot. I'm an all-time optimist. It's easy to persuade me that things'll be okay, even when I'm depressed - and I try my best to cheer other people up too. I'm very loyal to my friends; they mean a lot me, more than my family. Speaking of family, since it may come up in various posts: my parents are divorced and both remarried. I have a younger brother and a younger sister, and they live with our mother and stepdad in Yorkshire. I visit them sometimes, but mostly I live in Buckinghamshire with my dad and stepmother (who is very far from evil), and two cats. I love to read, and to write. Mostly they cover the same genres: fantasy, science fiction, humour and historical/mythological fiction. In fanfiction, I read and write mostly m/m romance, but I'm open to anything that's well-written. I'm big on SPG - mistakes really bug me - but I'm willing to beta read, review, or edit almost anything. I'm a perfectionist, but if someone gives me evidence that I'm wrong, I'll learn from it. I am rather opinionated, though - so arguing with me, uh, could go on for a while. Anyway - take a look around, and feel free to drop me a comment anytime.
